That change is probably not a trivial one and will not be backported to dapper. If you want to backup evolution you can probably copy .evolution and .gconf/apps/evolution, that should do the trick -- Backup Evolution in ONE, QUICK, EASY step. https://launchpad.net/bugs/75878
