hi,

I installed serpentine 0.6.4 from breezy-backports and I have still the
same problem.

prometoys at book:~$ LC_ALL=C serpentine

I have the problem also with a downloaded from berlios version, which I
installed in /usr/local/

Maybe an unmet dependency is the problem..
