Hello again!

I was waiting for this feature to get in hoary, then breezy, then
dapper, but as the gnome ui freeze and ubuntu uvf have both started
(again) I have to wonder that perhaps it's time to include rather
hackish patch or something, but don't make us wait another 6 mounths!

I mean there are enough good points mad during last 6 years in upstream
bug, can't we just take one and implement it?
