Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? That seems to be
the same issue than http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300161
upstream which is due to gam_server. gnome-vfs uses inotify directly on
dapper and that works fine for me, I'm closing the bug. Feel free to
reopen if you get the issue using dapper
