Could you describe the exact way for you to open the sftp? Usually the
bugs are much easier to reproduce and debug if you describe what you do
and that makes maintainer work easier. Like if you use the panel places
menu or a nautilus desktop icon, or computer:///, or ctrl-L. If you use
the panel that's probably something known upstream (panel asking for the
password then nautilus doing the same)
