Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/30038 Comment: The 3000 series don't have smart batteries, they just have buggy DSDTs. Regardless, this should be fixed in the next kernel release. I'm closing this since the original bug (smart batteries are unsupported) is fixed.
