Thank you for working on that bug. The description seems to point to a
libgnomeui bug, but I've no issue on my box. Could you describe a
configuration to reproduce it (options you use from the capplet to start
esd, have sound events, is esound installed or running, etc). You list a
bunch of function, could you describe where is located the wrong call?
