Comment:
I have two machines, one being an x86 and the other being an AMD64.  I
installed gstreamer0.8-plugins on both machines.  On the x86, DVD's play
fine.  On my AMD64 machine I receive the "Could not read title
information for DVD" error as stated in the previous posts.

I have gotten around the problem for the time being by simply installing
totem-xine on my AMD64 machine which plays DVD's without error.
