[Bug 32662] gaim crashes when started

Description:
Gaim just seems to crash after the latest update made at about 5:00PM EST. I'm running Kubuntu Dapper 6.04 on an i686, (1Ghz P3 with 384mb ram). To start the bug, I go: 
menu->internet->Internet Messenger (Gaim Internet Messenger)
