[Bug 32903] Admin Tool: Device Manager Not Working

I am running dapper-live-i386.iso from Feb 24, 2006.  Hal-device-manager
tool does not properly list some of the hardware for my computer.

For example, in the left pane I click Computer -> Processor  and in the
right pane it says Vendor: Unknown, Device: Unknown, Status: Status, Bus
Type:  Unknown, Device Type: Processor,  Capabilities: [u'processor'].

However, cat /proc/cpuinfo shows:
