i cant reproduce it on an ibook with 0000:00:10.0 VGA compatible
controller: ATI Technologies Inc M11 NV [FireGL Mobility T2e] (rev 80),
seems to be specific to i386 and very likely specific to the Mobility
7500 itself ...
