Currently serpentine works with gstreamer 0.8 by default. This error
only appears when you do not have gstreamer-gnomevfs. The only problem
here is that it's not handled correctly. I wasn't checking if the
resulting object was None, hence the AttributeError.

I already fixed this and now the operation will fail, showing a dialog
error. Next step (will be done tonight) is to check if gnomevfs plugin
exists before starting serpentine and disabling when it doesn't.

But I still would like to know if Martin Pitt or Lukas Sabota did have
it installed. That would prove that the problem comes from somewhere I'm
not aware of.

Another solution would be to make serpentine depend on
gstreamer-0.10-gnomevfs, since next version will use that version of
gstreamer when it can (so on parallel install it will always use 0.10
instead of 0.8).
