Summary: Dapper : can't find a way to access home directory
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-menus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: manu.cornet at gmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

In an up-to-date dapper, nautilus doesn't appear in the Applications menu.
Provided you don't have a link to your $HOME directory on your desktop, there is
no easy way to get to it (except launching a terminal, or Alt-F2, of course).

More generally, I believe that the user's home directory should be easier to be
accessed, for example by adding nautilus to the default gnome-panel icons (with
firefox and evolution), or by placing a link to $HOME on the desktop, by default.
