Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/29966

Affects: gnome-cups-manager (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
build: gnome-cups-manager 0.31-1.1ubuntu1

I have an Minolta Magicolor 2400W Color Laser Printer.

According to linuxprinting.org, the m2300w driver from sourceforge.net
is required to get the printer working. I have downloaded and installed
the latest version (m2300w-0.51.tar.gz) [worked, however I had to add
some additional permissions].

In gnome-cups-manager, the printer was detected correctly. When adding
the printer, the m2300w driver was recommended and the printer added.

However, the test page didn't print. When looking at the properties
dialog, the printer model no longer 2400W, but 2430DL and the assigned
driver was foo2zjs (which is known not to work with the 2400W).
