Today (Jul 4th), I found out that totem(-xine) crashed. I did scaled down the png file from 1280 to 1024. It worked. For pete's sake, the fix is very much needed to kill this bug. -- totem-xine crash on logo (workaround inside) https://launchpad.net/bugs/35229
