[Bug 50550] Chatroom crashes Firefox

Public bug reported:

Have installed Sun JRE as linked from Synaptic.

When I visit a SigmaChat chatroom (the one in question is private, but
there is a demo at http://www.sigmachat.com/demo.html) it lets me log
in, but then when the chat window appears the browser just dies.

I cannot find any debug information.

It is not just the one window, it is all instances of Firefox.

Firefox version 1.5.0.4 on Dapper with kernel 2.6.15-25-386
