Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
What I did:
- Add a new Application Launcher to the panel.
- Right-click on the launcher and go to Properties.
- Remove the default text in the Generic Name and Comments field.
- Click on Close.
- Logout
- Login
- Hover the mouse over the launcher.
What happened:
- The build details of the application are displayed.
What I expected:
- Since the comments have been removed, only the name of the launcher
should be displayed when the mouse hovers over the launcher.
Additional Details:
- I've tried this with both the Terminal and Evolution.
** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
