[Bug 49054] HTML files open in Firefox, regardless of preferences

Public bug reported:

In my Gnome preferences and in update-alternatives I have selected
Epiphany as my default browser.  However, if I click on any HTML file on
my computer, it will load in Firefox rather than Epiphany.

This is using Dapper Final with the latest round of security updates as
of June 8, 2006.
