[Bug 49305] Alt-F2 launcher behaves annoyingly

Sorry for the unclear bug title, I'll try to explain this annoying bug
as simply as I can.

The new Alt-F2 launcher in Gnome 2.14 (on Dapper) presents a list of
"known applications" under the command edit box. This list behaves
incorrectly and / or annoyingly in most circumstances (at least here)

To reproduce : 
-------------------

Alt-F2, then type "ge" (without quotes)
The list updates and "Text Editor" appears in the list
Click on it : it disappears !

Select all the text from the edit box with the mouse
Hit Del and type "gedi"
The list updates and "Text Editor" appears again in the list
Click on it : it does not disappear !
