I was running Dapper at the fully upgraded stage, then I just switched
the repository to Edgy and it instantly switched to error-mode.

The configuration hasn't changed since I was using Breezy, except for a
few icons.

And I have changed my gnome theme in the past, iconset eXperience, with
Industrial controls and a modified "Vista" theme. But I haven't tampered
with any actual GTK settings at all.
