[Bug 51332] Alecarte will not allow applications to to checked and added

Public bug reported:

When I run alacarte it will show the aplications that can be added but
it is imposible to check the check box next to the program.

This is the output when I run alacarte from the shell.

I think this is a problem that I can not fix.
