Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33521 Comment: (I'm sure this is an upstream bug but I can't find it) To get rid of bad/old shares in places you have to open Places -> Network Servers, press the right mouse button over the share and go to Unmount Volume. It will then disappear. Mildly related to Bug #3340 .
