Bug 128968 is not a duplicate of this bug.

My bug describes a situation in which menus do not remain open because
of a delayed release of the mouse button. This situation is more common
on old hardware where I guess that there is a delay before GTK+ can
process input from the mouse. However, this bug occurs on new machines
as well when a user lingers on a menubar too long with the mouse button
depressed.
