[Bug 34531] mp3 playback skips

Description:
I wanted to play mp3 music in ubuntu dapper flight5 so I installed the
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly package. I click the mp3 file which was saved
on my desktop and it was loaded by totem.

I expected the song to play as it does on my other computer however the
music skips every now and again and the duration of the song fluctuates
frequently around 3.00 minutes.

Ive tried playing back some other formats, such as the ogg vorbis, and
they seem to playback fine in totem with no jumps.

PS Rhythembox exhibits the same beviour which is why i think there is a
bug in the plugin.
