Indeed and there will not be.
The aim of x-g is to offer a more GNOME spirit UI. I don't know many GNOME applications where you can customize right-click menus and all the interface like xchat does.
We will not repeat all the UI abominations of xchat.

Furthermore, keep in mind than x-g is a very young project, not as
mature as xchat and still in very active developement. So, if you don't
like x-g maybe you should just use xchat.
