[Bug 34923] Failure to import photos

Description:
I have an canon eos 300d. When I plug in the camera I get the Import photos dialog which has correctly detected my camera in normal mode. When I click import I get the following error:
The path 'file:///DCIM/162CANON' is not absolute.

gphoto -P works fine.
