I too have an AMD64 running updated dapper, and would like to confirm
that the same thing happens with me.

Indeed, it happens when ANY attempt to bring up the file requester
happens: for example, "Save as" causes the same segfault. If I load the
file from the "Recent documents" menu listing, it opens fine
