[Bug 35454] Inconsistent Icon Size

Description:
Some icons are displayed larger than normal. This is really annoying.
Here are some screenshots that demonstrates the problem:

Here is my Recent Documents menu with some big icons.

This icon looks really bad on monodevelop (might affect other apps as well)

The iPod is a bit taller than the normal drives/media icons.
