[Bug 35574] gconf-editor makes gnome-panel crash

    i was asked in https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35244 to file a bug
    i've run 
    gdb gconf-editor and 
    (gdb) run
     and then closed the app and  i ran
    (gdb) thread apply all bt (the latter didn't do anything)
    the former,however produced this:
