It doesn't seem to matter what theme I use, it has happened on every theme I've tried so far.
The UI isn't frozen, I can still select messages.
I have an nVidia GeForce 6800GS.

I have noticed now that it only seems to be happening when I change
between different mail folders. When Evolution initially loads, showing
my Inbox, everything looks OK. If I then navigate to one of my mailing
list folders, the glitches occur.
