[Bug 35348] Deskbar applet keep gnome panel from completely loading

I did "reset" gnome by deleting the .gnome config files. It didn't clear up
the problem. I am not currently running the applet so I don't know if it is
still happening. I am also running the freenx server so that may be an
issue, and since the freenx is from an unoffical repo, this may make this
problem invalid. Could it possibly be a conflict between the freenx server
and gnome/deskbar?
