You can achieve that for all gnome/gtk apps by setting the gtk key theme
to "Emacs". However, all apps will try to follow that, including gedit
for instance, which might be annoying (for instance, ctrl+A will no
longer select all - this is intended, as it will be binded to beginning
of line, because of the emacs theme)
