Sorry, I had forgot about this bug. This bug was fixed by a new hal upload some days after I filed the bug. Probably by 0.5.6-4ubuntu1 the 14th of February.

Unknown if the continous bus resets were the cause, but my scsi cd-writer is now dead. But the scsi dvd-rom seems to be working ok :)

So this bug can be closed now.
