Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/37171

Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Given the horizontal width dedicated to the title of applets (right now,
more than twice the width of each icon), and given that the vertical
spacing is mainly determined by the length of those titles, I think the
icons could be made somehow larger while fitting nearly the same number
of applets in the view.

Moreover, with the icons being so small, one wonders why there is so
much blank space in the dialog (between the icons), when it could be
filled by just expanding the icons a little.
