Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/37301
Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
It seems like the gnome panel's clock sometimes have problems to keep the exact time.
I use the "Europe/Paris" time zone, and the clock sometimes jump from the correct time to time +2 hours, back and forth. For instance, yesterday the time displayed was correct, and this morning the clock displays the time with an "increase" of 2 hours (it was 13 o'clock instead of 11).
I tried to use the "Synchronize Now" button in "Time and Date Settings", but it didn't do anything. I was forced to check the "Use UTC" radio button to adjust the time, but it will a temporary solution (as the time keeps on changing).
I checked my bios clock, and it was on time, so the problem is really in Dapper's clock management.
