Public bug reported:
Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
Binary package hint: evolution
Hi!
with my german keyboard its not possible to me to use the key
combination ctrl+[ or ctrl+]. Or at least i dont know how.
On german keyboards the characters '[' and ']' can be typed in by
pressing shift+8 and shift+9.
But the key combination ctrl+shift+8 and ctrl+shift+9 doesnt work to
perform the "Go To next/last unread message" action.
If i did not get it wrong, please:
* short term bug fix
use a possible key combination
* long term bug fix:
There should be some sort of a framework or support from gtk/gnome-libs to include user-customizable key-combinations for actions that are inside the menu and the toolbar. Perhaps the toolbar editor is a good place to implement this.
kind regards, Sven
