Dapper on my iBook G4 PowerPC, up to date as of 2006-05-08; list of some relevant installed package versions below

When I try to play a track from a dvd in totem-gstreamer, I get the
following:

$ totem dvd://01
[...]lots of normal looking gstreamer output deleted[...]
** (totem:8272): CRITICAL **: file gstdvddemux.c: line 971 (gst_dvd_demux_send_subbuffer): should not be reached

Totem presents me with a dialog that complains about an "internal data
flow error".

When I start a dvd track from the gstreamer command line, it plays without complaining:
gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=dvd://01
[...]the same lots of normal looking gstreamer output deleted[...]


Please tell me if there is any more information I can provide to help you fix this problem.
