Public bug reported:
Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
Binary package hint: gnome-session
Similar to #23426 but my computer (a Hypersonic laptop with 1 GB ram, P4
w/HTT, ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 video card) has the correct date set.
Ubuntu starts X okay and displays the background and the mouse cursor,
but then never starts gnome. The cursor still moves so it hasn't
crashed. Ubuntu has had this problem with Flight 5, Flight 6, and Beta
2.
