[Bug 44596] totem won't start after new audio device is added

Binary package hint: totem

Totem working fine with inbuilt laptop sound.

Added a webcam with a microphone, but no speaker (as far as I can tell)
Default ALSA device seems to change to the webcam.
Gxine plays sound fine.
Totem fails to start (Could not establish connection to sound server)
