The minimalistic theme looks amazing.  I think that should be the
default as well, maybe with a message saying "Press CTRL-ALT-F# to see
details" or something like that.

If not that, the old one should be brought back; the new one looks
terrible IMO.

There's a poll in the forums about it now as well, and the majority of people that have voted so far want the old one back.
