[Bug 44902] Totem internal volume control disabled when AC3 passthrough selected

Public bug reported:

Since it's internal, Totem's volume control STILL WORKED with AC3
passthrough to spdif, and was very useful for reducing the volume below
the lowest level of an external amp.

This regression showed up with totem 1.4.1 in Dapper.

Incidentally, downloading the changelog for totem-xine in Synaptic fails
because it looks for totem in universe on changelogs.ubuntu.com instead
of main.
