[Bug 44918] deskbar applet is not transparent

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

When making the gnome-panel transparent, the deskbar-applet stands out
with its white background. Giving it a transparent background would be
nice.

(I looked whether this bug was reported already; it probably is; but I
didn't find it)
