[Bug 45514] Totem-xine displays strange video artifacts

Using the latest dapper, I'm getting strange artifacts playing all
video.  At best I get a diagonal line that looks like overlapping
pixels.   Sometimes I get a horizontal green bar at the top.  Some
videos aren't discernable or look like the resolution is off.

Up until last week's updates Totem-xine was working great.
