[Bug 45627] Every partition and card reader showing up in 'Computer' place

After the latest updates to ubuntu dapper, if I open 'places/computer'
then in addition to 'filesystem' and a real usb drive I now get icons
for every partition on my HD (whether mounted or not), all my optical
drives and all my card reader slots showing as usb drives. It's very
cluttered and not much use!

I can send a screenshot to anyone who wants but I couldn't find a way to
post it here
