[Bug 45740] dots appear in human theme widgets

Public bug reported:

i see rather often on my display minor corruption with the human theme,
mostly with scrollbars, in the form of dots that appear. making the
application repaint (pass another window on top of the spots, clicking
around the area where the problem appears) fixes the problem, but it's
still annoying a bit.

i know for certain it appears with scrollbars and openoffice menu bar.

i'll attach a screenshot.
