[Bug 46204] [Dapper] wacom-tools 0.7.2 fails to create the /dev/wacom symlink

Public bug reported:

wacom-tools 0.7.2 installs and configure /etc/X11/xorg.conf properly,
but fails to create the /dev/wacom symlink, so the tablet is unusable.

I'm using Dapper 05/23 daily build, and a Wacom Intuos 3 A5 usb tablet,
on a laptop (Dell inspiron 8200).
