Is this bug a duplicate of
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/4472 ?
Even with SA installed, spam filtering will not work. Both bugs are
solved by the bogofilter plugin. (need to check a fresh installation to
see if it is installed)
** Summary changed:
- antispam filter doesn't work
+ antispam filter doesn't installed by default
** Description changed:
The evolution antispam filter doesn't work because of the fact that spamassassin
is (in fact) absolutely necessary for the normal function of that evolution
filter as you can see in the console outing below (1). However, spamassassin is
a recommended package actually and belongs to universe repositories. It causes a
general confusion in evolution users and nobody, anywhere is advised ..as far as
we (too many people) know.
Therefore, I think spamassassin ought to be a obligatory dependency of
evolution.
