[Bug 47473] evolution crashes after update

Public bug reported:

I have updated today to Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and with it also evolution,
which is now version 2.6.1

The update of evolution did not update the index or metadata files and
the mail program kept crashing until I cleaned these files, closed the
evolution data server and restarted the program.
