Yes, it happens for me every time I start up my laptop.

I get 2 or 3 gnome-keyring dialogues from network-manager, all exactly
the same message (asking so that it can get the key for my wireless
network).

Yes I do check the box to store the password.

Generally, I cancel the requests to unlock the keyring, cancel the next
dialogue asking for my wireless network key, then re-select the access
point from the NM drop-down, and then it asks for the gnome-keyring
password just once and I provide it.
