[Bug 69881] Wrong partition list in gparted (sata disks) with kubuntu 6.10

I have launched the install process in kubuntu 6.10 (Desktop CD)
i have chosen a manual partionning.

the partition list displayed in qparted on my second hard drive was totally crazy 
(false number of partitions, ext3 partition mentionned as swap).

in a console, the partition list given by fdisk was ok.

my hardware : MB Gigabyte K8N Ultra 9 / CPU Athlon X2 3800+ / 2 Hard
Drive SATA Hitachi
